My Fragrance Shelf

One of the “my X shelf” apps

In development · not yet released

You own forty bottles. You wear three.

My Fragrance Shelf is a collection app for people whose collection outgrew their memory. Catalogue every bottle, see what is left and how long it has been open, get told which ones are quietly turning, and get one considered answer to what to wear tonight.

01

Tonight’s answer, not tonight’s list

Tell it the season, the weather and where you are going: a January dinner, a hot commute, a wedding you do not want to dominate. It suggests two or three bottles from your shelf, with a reason attached, so the same safe three stop winning by default.

02

Bottles turn. You should know first

Juice oxidises. Citrus opens first, then the top notes flatten. Record the day you opened a bottle and the app warns you while a fragrance is still worth wearing, not after it has gone sour and taken your money with it. We also want to date bottles from their batch codes, but every house encodes them differently and none of them publish the scheme, so treat that part as an intention rather than a feature.

03

A shelf that knows its own levels

Every bottle with its house, concentration, size, batch code, what you paid, where it came from, and roughly how much is left. Decants and splits included. Search it, sort it, and see the whole collection at a glance instead of guessing from the back of a cupboard.

04

A wear log that becomes a taste profile

Log what you wore and how it landed. Over a season that becomes a real picture: the accords you reach for, the ones you own but never touch, what is worth buying next, and what is a duplicate of something already on the shelf.

The shelf

Forty bottles, one record.

House, concentration, size, what you paid, the day it was opened and roughly how much is left. Every bottle on one shelf, in one place, instead of in the back of a cupboard and the back of your head.

Tell us it is worth building

One email when it is ready. That is the whole ask.
